Where The Data Comes From

Most trash-day lookups are buried in city PDFs or clunky ESRI viewers. We pulled the source data directly from each city and serve it as a clean interactive map:

When a city updates its routes, we re-pull the source. If you spot a route that looks wrong, text us at (816) 820-1078 and we'll cross-check.

While You're Here…

Now that you know your trash day, the next thing your bins want is a clean. We pressure-wash, sanitize, and deodorize curbside the day after your pickup — from $15/month. Pet-safe, eco-friendly, no contracts.

Trash Day FAQ

What is my trash day in KC Northland?

It depends on which Northland city you live in. Use the interactive map at the top of this page to tap your area — you'll see your trash day, our cleaning day, and your next 4 cleaning dates. KCMO Public Works runs Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri across 18 Northland ZIPs by address; Liberty has 5 routes; Kearney has 4; Smithville has 4 (no Tuesday); North Kansas City is all Tuesday; Gladstone and Parkville use private subscription.

Why does my city have multiple trash days?

Trash haulers route by efficiency — trucks follow set paths so each home gets picked up roughly the same time each week. Smaller cities often have 2-5 routes covering different parts of town on different weekdays. Larger cities like KCMO have many routes. Privatized cities (Gladstone, Parkville) don't have a single schedule because each household subscribes to its own hauler.

Where does Bin Bros get this data?

Directly from each city's official sources — ArcGIS feature services for Liberty and Kearney, the official routes document for Smithville, KCMO open data for the Northland ZIPs. We re-pull on a schedule so when cities update their routes, this map stays current. Privatized cities (Gladstone, Parkville) don't have a central source we can pull, so we describe the situation honestly.

When do you clean my bins?

The day after your trash pickup. So if your trash day is Wednesday, we clean on Thursday. Once you tap your area on the map, the right-side panel shows your specific cleaning day plus the next 4 dates so you know exactly when to expect us.

My address isn't showing — do you serve me?

If your ZIP appears on the map, yes. If your ZIP isn't on the map, we may still cover you on an adjacent route — text or call (816) 820-1078 and we'll check. We're often expanding to adjacent areas based on demand.
